Since our founding in 1969, Minute Women Home Care has been deeply rooted in the Lexington-community. In fact, we’re now in our family’s second generation of being locally-owned and operated, so unlike corporate options, we live and work here with you.
Being so involved with the Lexington-community has allowed us to expand and provide a comprehensive selection of in-home senior care service options. Common requests include in-home Alzheimer’s and dementia care, hospital discharge assistance, helping families with fall prevention, and 24-hour or hourly in-home senior caregiving services. We also offer personalized neurological disease care programs and in-home stroke recovery care in Lexington, MA.
In recent years, we’ve also developed game-changing low-cost fall detection systems for seniors that help our patients achieve independence and safety from the comfort of home. While not every patient will be a suitable option for aging-in-place with these products, for those that are good matches, this can be a very effective and affordable option for peace of mind for the whole family!
The team at Minute Women Home Care are easily accessible and happy to help during this challenging time. Our offices are open during normal business hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday and 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM Tuesday through Friday. Our office is located at:
If you’re visiting in-person, please know that there is ample free parking in the business complex. We’re in the large brick building on the corner of Bedford Street and C.W. Trans Way.
If you need assistance afterhours, please call us at (617) 917-5607. If this is an emergency or you need immediate medical attention, please call 911.
We understand how difficult it is to decide on senior care services for yourself or a loved one. Do you go with 24/7 caregiving assistance or hourly senior care? Would it be better to get an in-home caregiver for daily household tasks or is an assisted living situation more appropriate? Depending on your unique circumstances, one path will become more evident as the right choice for you and your family. If in-home caregiving is the best option, we’d like to make it easy for you to learn more about us and hopefully, become new clients!
If you like hearing from past customers and reading reviews, you’re in luck, as we’ve been in the community for 50+ years and have worked with thousands of patients! We encourage you to visit our company profiles and listings on the following sites. Whether it’s the nearly perfect score at Caring.com or our 5/5 stars on Google, we want you to hear what others have said about the care they received from Minute Women Home Care:
Minute Women Home Care has been a long-time sponsor of Memory Cafes throughout Middlesex County.
Memory Cafes are welcoming social gatherings where individuals experiencing dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other stages of neurological diseases are able to connect with others from the local community. Attendees can be joined by their caregiver or a loved-one and are given the opportunity to engage in a variety of social activities that build your support network and help provide new friendships. They’re really remarkable and many look forward to these monthly events well in advance.
These Memory Cafes occur on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and go from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at the Lexington Community Center:
If you’d like to attend the Memory Cafe in Lexington, please stop by our next meeting or RSVP to Michelle Kelleher at email@example.com. We look forward to to meeting you!
